Bid Protests

State, city, and town governments often ask subcontractors and general contractors to submit bids for improvements to public works and public buildings. Disputes sometimes arise concerning irregularities in the bid process.

There are two ways of protesting these irregularities: court challenges and administrative protests before the Attorney General's Office. An administrative protest before the Attorney General's Office is quicker and less expensive than a court challenge, making it the better option for many protesters.

The attorneys at Mehlman TerBeek LLP have represented protesters and defended against bid protests in court and before the Attorney General's Office. We keep ourselves familiar with current bid protest mechanisms and procedures so that we can best advocate for your interests.
